کبوتر جهانگرد عاشق سفر بود. هر روز بر فراز کوه‌ها، دشت‌ها و جنگل‌های سبز پرواز می‌کرد.

The traveling pigeon loved to explore. Every day, she flew over mountains, fields, and green forests.

یک روز همراه گروهی از کبوترها به سرزمینی زیبا رسید. مطوقه، کبوتر دانا، راهنمای گروه بود.

One day, she traveled with a flock of pigeons to a beautiful land. Their wise leader was a pigeon named Matouqeh.

کبوترها از پرواز طولانی خسته و گرسنه شده بودند. ناگهان روی زمین دانه‌های فراوانی دیدند.

The pigeons were tired and hungry after their long flight. Suddenly, they saw many grains scattered on the ground.

یکی از کبوترها گفت: «چه غذای خوبی! بیایید پایین برویم.» اما آنها دام صیاد را ندیدند.

“What wonderful food! Let’s go down!” said one pigeon. But they did not see the hunter’s net.

همین که کبوترها شروع به خوردن کردند، دام دورشان بسته شد. همه ترسیدند و در دام گرفتار شدند.

As soon as the pigeons began eating, the net closed around them. Everyone was frightened and became tangled.

مطوقه گفت: «دوستان! اگر هرکدام فقط به فکر خودش باشد، هیچ‌کدام آزاد نمی‌شویم.»

Matouqeh said, “Friends! If each of us thinks only of herself, none of us will escape.”

مطوقه گفت: «همه با هم! وقتی گفتم سه، بال بزنید. یک... دو... سه!» همه با هم بال زدند.

Matouqeh said, “Together! When I say three, flap your wings. One… two… THREE!” They all flapped together.

دام از روی زمین بلند شد! کبوترها همراه دام به آسمان رفتند و صیاد نتوانست به آنها برسد.

The net lifted from the ground! The pigeons flew into the sky carrying it, and the hunter could not catch them.

آنها نزد موش دانا رفتند. موش شروع به بریدن رشته‌های دام کرد. مطوقه گفت: «اول دوستانم را آزاد کن.»

They went to a wise mouse. The mouse began cutting the net. Matouqeh said, “Please free my friends first.”

موش همه را آزاد کرد. کبوترها دوباره به آسمان رفتند. دوستان واقعی یکدیگر را تنها نمی‌گذارند؛ با همکاری، کار دشوار ممکن می‌شود.

The mouse freed everyone. The pigeons rose into the sky again. True friends do not leave one another behind; together, difficult things become possible.
