موش و شترThe Mouse and the Camel
Page 1. One day, a little mouse took hold of a great camel’s halter. The camel calmly followed behind. The mouse said proudly, “What a powerful guide I am!”
Page 2. The mouse puffed out his chest and marched along. He imagined that the camel was obeying him. The kind camel said nothing and quietly followed.
Page 3. They came to a river. The mouse stopped at the water’s edge and was afraid to go farther. The camel asked, “Dear guide, why have you stopped?”
Page 4. The camel stepped into the river and said, “The water reaches only my knees.” The mouse replied, “But that same water is much deeper than I am tall!”
Page 5. The camel bent down and said, “Climb onto my back, and I will carry you across.” The mouse climbed up, and the camel gently crossed the river.
Page 6. The mouse said, “Please forgive me. I will not boast about my abilities again.” The camel smiled. We should understand our abilities and accept help when we need it.
