01

I wish I were like autumn… I wish I were like autumn.

02

I wish I were silent and melancholy like autumn.

03

The leaves of my desires would turn yellow, one by one.

04

The sunlight of my eyes would grow cold.

05

The sky of my breast would fill with pain.

06

Suddenly a storm of sorrow would claw at my soul.

07

My tears, like rain,

08

would stain my skirts.

09

Ah… how beautiful it would be if I were autumn,

10

wild, passionate, and full of colour.

11

A poet would read within my eyes… a heavenly poem.

12

Beside a loving heart, it would flare

13

in the sparks of the fire of a hidden pain.

14

My song…

15

like the voice of a breeze with broken wings,

16

would pour the fragrance of sorrow upon weary hearts.

17

Before me,

18

the bitter face of the winter of youth;

19

behind me,

20

the tumult of the summer of a sudden love.

21

My breast,

22

a dwelling place for sorrow, pain, and misgiving.

23

I wish I were like autumn… I wish I were like autumn.
