The idea of the project comes from the fact that the Farsi language is being converted to Farsi-Tazi (تازی) where Farsi words are being replaced with their Arabic equivalent. We have trouble reading the Farsi blogs and publications with so many Arabic and English words.

So we must re-do what Ferdosi did after 300 years of the Tazi language. We have translated Shahnameh by Ferdowsi, line by line to English.  Each line of the poem is presented with its translation below it

به نام خداوند جان و خرد

کز این برتر اندیشه بر نگذرد 

In the name of God, the Lord of Life and Wisdom,

Let not this noble thought be passed over
