I returned from the spring of sleep, a wet jug in my hand.

باز آمدم از چشمه خواب، کوزه تر در دستم.

Birds were singing, the lotus opening. I broke the wet jug.

مرغانی می‌خواندند. نیلوفر وا می‌شد. کوزه تر بشکستم.

I closed the door

در بستم

and sat upon the veranda of gazing at you.

و در ایوان تماشای تو بنشستم.
