How long must one go

تا به کی باید رفت

from one land to another?

از دیاری به دیار دیگر

آه اکنون دیریست

it is as though within me there has collapsed

که فرو ریخته در من ، گویی

the dark rubble of a heavy cloud.

تیره آواری از ابر گران

When I mingle with your kiss,

چو می آمیزم با بوسه تو

روی لبهایم می پندارم
