02a swan, awakened out of season,
03washes indigo dust from its white wings and feathers.
04The lips of the stream
05overflow with a wave of murmuring in a white bed.
06Shadow and light have run into one another.
07Gliding amid a harvest of soot,
08the firefly shines in white fire.
09Keeping pace with the reed bed's delicate dance,
10the marsh opens its wet white eye.
11A line of light lies on the darkness:
12as though white gold were gleaming on ebony.
13The wall of shadows has fallen into ruin.
14The hand of the gaze, on the distant horizon,
15has built a lofty palace of white marble.
