01

Tonight, a melody's assault split open the grave of my mind:

02

it poured life into a dead one's veins.

03

He rose amid shadow and light.

04

He shouted at me: You thought me dead,

05

and consigned to the dust of bygone days;

06

but your belief is vain:

07

my body drives death away from itself.

08

My story is tainted with the poison of bitter moments.

09

At every chance I find, I will assault you.

10

I will mingle your joy with torment.

11

I will bind to your imagination an image

12

that destroys your peace within its color,

13

mingles pain with pleasure,

14

pours into your heartbeats,

15

and brings back bygone images, dusty with itself.

16

The dead one had closed his lips.

17

My eye slipped over a sinister design.

18

Pain seeped from my body.

19

The melody was assaulting my mind.
