The idea behind the project stems from the fact that the Farsi language is being converted to Farsi-Tazi (تازی), where Farsi words are replaced with their Arabic equivalents. We have trouble reading Farsi blogs and publications because they contain many Arabic and English words.

The Fall of Zahhak — An Epic Retelling

Thus was the doom of Zahhak fulfilled by Fereydun, the legendary hero of Iran. With his army at his side, Fereydun rose against the tyrant, crossed the roaring Arvand, and advanced upon Zahhak’s stronghold. With the aid of Kaveh the Blacksmith and faithful companions, he struck Zahhak down, bound him in cowhide, and bore him to the heights of Mount Damavand. There, within the heart of the mountain, Zahhak was chained and imprisoned, condemned to endure the reckoning of his deeds. And so ended the thousand-year reign of cruelty and oppression.

A Modern Allegory

So too, in a modern allegory, was Zahhak’s fall imagined anew—this time through Reza Pahlavi. With the people of Iran beside him, he rose to confront the tyrant, crossed boundaries, and reached the citadel of power. With the strength of his companions, he overcame Zahhak in Tehran, bound him in cowhide, and carried him to Mount Damavand, where he was cast into confinement to answer for his crimes. Thus came the end of Zahhak’s seven-year reign of ignorance and tyranny.

فرجامِ ضحاک — روایتی حماسی

چنین بود که سرانجامِ ضحاک، به دستِ فریدون، قهرمانِ افسانه‌ایِ ایران، رقم خورد. فریدون با سپاهِ خویش بر ضدِ بیداد برخاست، از خروشِ اروند گذشت و به دژِ ستم رسید. با یاریِ کاوهٔ آهنگر و دلیرانِ هم‌پیمانش، ضحاک را درهم شکست؛ او را به چرمِ گاو فروبست و به فرازِ کوهِ دماوند برد. در ژرفای آن کوه، زنجیرش کرد تا کیفرِ کردارِ خویش ببیند. و بدین‌سان، پادشاهیِ هزارسالهٔ بیداد و خون به پایان آمد.

تمثیلی از روزگار ما

و اینک، در تمثیلی از روزگارِ ما، داستانِ فرجامِ ضحاک بار دیگر بازگفته می‌شود. رضا پهلوی، همراه با مردمِ ایران، به رویاروییِ بیداد برخاست؛ از مرزها گذشت و به دژِ قدرت رسید. با همراهیِ یارانش، ضحاک را در تهران فروکوفت، به چرمِ گاو بست و به کوهِ دماوند برد؛ آنجا که در بند افتاد تا پاسخ‌گویِ ستم‌های خویش باشد. و چنین شد که فرمانرواییِ جهل و ستم، که هفت سال به درازا کشیده بود، فرجام یافت.
